GUI equivalent of the xpath command line tool, worth $2 despite drawbacks
A GUI equivalent of the xpath command line tool, worth $2 despite drawbacks.
This is clearly a simple tool built by the author for his specific purpose, without much effort to make it apply to others purpose. However, you can not directly open an XML file with an arbitrary extension from within the app. If you try to open it using the menu, it warns you that it cant. If you try to drag the file into the source pane, you get the path of the file inserted into the source pane instead of the content of your file.
That said, once you get the XML in (drag the contents of the file over from TextWrangler, copy-paste, whatever), itll run xpath queries on it and show the results.
Im not sorry I spent $2 on this, though Id rather have spent $20 on a more polished tool. :)
